- (9/29/1828 Peronne- c1905) (France)aka Chauvet, AdolphePainter, master draughtsman, etcher, and illustrator. Trained in the studio of Charles Ciceri. Later in his career he specialized in providing illustrations for privately printed erotic literature [mostly for the publisher Gay and Douce], such as the 10 etchings for "La Guerre des Dieux."
